Write Mitt Romney!

The Harris campaign could use the help of Mitt Romney to demonstrate that for the good of the Country he has elected to notify the Republican Party that they need to “get real” and support Kamala Harris over Donald Trump who is in no way a type of Republican which was envisioned within the “party of Lincoln”. I decided after hearing Mr. Romney’s “position” that I would write him, all the way from Seattle to his home in Utah and to his offices in Washington, D.C. This is what I wrote:

Thank you for your consideration of my letter. I’ve heard that you are withholding support for V. P. Harris in her candidacy for President because you see a place for yourself in the future of Republican Party Politics. If things were in any way normal I might be able to understand your position. Yet things are not normal, the GOP as we knew it is no longer viable, having been sidetracked by a lying, deceitful, disgusting person who has not upheld his oath of office to Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States. If you wish to make the Republican Party “new again” you need to seize it from the clutches of Donald Trump and create a body of folks who believe in government of and for the people, all the people. I urge you to consider giving your vote to Kamala Harris and Tim Walz and work for a better America, a greater Republican Party which works for the betterment of the country, not the aggrandizement of one person.

Of course this will not be read by Senator Romney, but by an aide who will put into the trash can on his computer. But if enough people wrote their feelings on this maybe he’d appreciate the error of his ways.
